WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re searching for a technical writer to join our team and help take our client-focused products to new heights. The ideal candidate will have proven success creating guides and documentation in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering. Also important in this role are an ability to evaluate and analyze complex information and a natural desire to help people understand it.
Responsibilities:
- Write user-friendly guides and API specification content, perfectly translating the value of FPX to the reader
- Work closely with developers & business stakeholders to gain full understanding of FPX features and business value in order to translate into useful documentation
- Spearhead the maturation of the FPX Developer Hub, focusing on bettering the content and the full user experience
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Evaluate existing content, develop strategies and approaches for improvement and execute on them
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
Required skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience writing technical documentation
- Ability to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
- Effectively handle multiple assignments at the same time
- Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Nice to have skills:
- Previous experience with CSS, web design
- Previous experience in Javascript, React
- Working knowledge of Docusaurus website generator
