Job Title: UI/UX Designer (Enerza.io SaaS - Map Centric Webapp) – Temp -Contract
Location: Canada or USA (Remote)
Enerza.io is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the energy sector. We are currently seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our SaaS component, specifically focused on map-centric web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled designer with prior experience in vegetation management software and a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, to gather requirements and conduct research to identify product-market fit for map-centric web applications within the Enerza.io SaaS component.
Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for efficient user interactions, with a focus on enhancing the user experience.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and workflows.
Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate designs based on user needs and preferences.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UI/UX design.
Work closely with business analysts to understand user requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes.
Utilize research findings to inform design decisions and contribute to the overall product strategy.
Incorporate user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis into the iterative design process.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing map-centric web application designs.
Expertise in designing intuitive user interfaces and interactive experiences.
Familiarity with vegetation management software is highly desirable.
Proficiency in tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
Knowledge of ESRI and Mapbox is an asset, though not mandatory.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business analysts and cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Located in Canada or the USA.
