ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Your mission on the Product team will be to support the company’s growth in process automation and applied intelligence. You possess a deep understanding of the B2B enterprise financial software domain and the B2B marketplace. You know how to build and deliver product innovations that leverage AI to address customer needs. You are a commercially minded professional who can articulate product strategies and roadmaps that align with goals and drive successful outcomes.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Product Manager will drive all aspects of developing and executing on the Company’s vision for the Itemize product set. This role will work cross-functionally on product requirements, development of strategy and roadmaps, and in-market implementation. The Product Manager will interact with the agile development team to align requirements with development plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Gain a deep understanding of target economic buyer and end-user personas including their pain points, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Work with Itemize team to invent AI solutions to fill gaps in legacy enterprise software systems
- Create, manage, and execute on the Company’s roadmap for product development
- Own and manage new product development lifecycle from initial research through releases and ongoing product management, achieving elegant and powerful user experiences
- Structure and run PI planning meetings and assume the responsibilities of Scrum Master
- Oversee implementation and release workflow and deadlines
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to drive innovation and customer success
- Work with the technology team to articulate product specifications and support development
- Establish key performance metrics to measure success and inform decision-making
- Clearly communicate the status of projects on the product roadmap and in development
- Create user documentation in coordination with stakeholders
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
- 4+ years of work experience in market-facing AP product management roles
- Experience in integrating with Enterprise Applications such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa and Workday
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, web/cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Machine/Deep Learning
- Domain expertise in AP platforms and B2B FinTech
- Experience with Expense Management, Procurement, Electronic Invoicing, and Accounts Payable systems and processes
- Experience with Agile product development methodologies
- Experience with product roadmap tools and JIRA
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
