The Opportunity:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Android Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a platform that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. Location:
Remote (India) with frequent visits to our Headquarters in the UAE.
Candidates must hold a valid passport for travel.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the development and maintenance of our Android applications, ensuring robustness, scalability, and optimal user experience.
- Innovate and implement new technologies and frameworks, particularly Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM), and Jetpack Compose, to enhance app functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Stay ahead of the curve on the latest industry trends in the Android ecosystem, applying this knowledge to improve our app continuously.
- Participate in code reviews, and contribute to the continuous learning culture within the team.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Android app development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM), and a solid understanding of Jetpack Compose.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Android ecosystem, including architectural patterns, latest frameworks, and best practices.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a team player attitude.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
