About the role:
Our client is looking for an Wordpress Developer, as a WordPress Developer, who will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).

Permanent work from home
Shift: 7:30 PM- 3:30 AM (IST)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Websites: Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins. You should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
- Website Maintenance: Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Technical Support: Assist with troubleshooting any technical issues on the website and strive to improve the user experience.
- Coding: Write well-designed, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and to implement them.
- SEO: Optimize website for maximum speed and scalability and ensure that all elements of the web development are optimized for SEO.
- Testing: Conduct website performance tests and routinely update the website to improve loading speeds and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git).
- Strong understanding of WordPress, its file structure, and experience with creating custom post types and plugins.
