Have you successfully built and/or led teams and now want to help other companies do the same? Do you want to work flexibly from home? Are you process-oriented, with phenomenal attention to detail, tech savvy, a lifelong and quick learner, and thrive off interacting with people? If so, you may be a great fit for this fantastic part-time, long-term opportunity.
We are looking for people who have:
We are a team growth strategy firm that help our clients successfully scale by revolutionizing their hiring. We transform the way organizations build and lead their teams and partner with them to ensure their teams are happy, fulfilled, and empowered at work. Because deep discovery and strategic planning are always conducted prior to execution, all services result in extraordinary teams that are highly aligned with company goals, culture, and vision. Here's a bit more about what we do: https://vimeo.com/297214624
What would you be doing?
At the start of your engagement with us, you will be learning everything possible about our clients and the open positions we are helping them to fill. This goes significantly deeper than the norm. We not only gain deep insight into the culture and people in the job, but we learn everything we can about the role itself -- systems used, processes, workflows, etc. You will be learning all this through reviewing the documentation other SSLLC team members created during their onsite discovery, as well as conducting your own independent secondary research.
From there, you will conduct in-depth phone interviews with candidates, create transcripts, and outline the strengths, challenges/concerns, and fit for each candidate.
We would also love for you to assist with other aspects of our hiring processes. Depending on your strengths and preferences, this may include screening candidate applications, creative sourcing using our AI Sourcing technology and other methods, designing & administering simulations that mimic what the candidate would experience on the job, and creating candidate packages, writing job postings, creating documentation from notes and discovery interview videos with clients, and more.
What you can expect from us:
Flexibility and the ability to work from home or wherever you like, and to set your own schedule
Opportunity to truly make an impact and further the growth of both SSLLC and our clients' entities
A feeling of partnership – we welcome ideas from everyone and encourage established team members to bring theirs to the table
A commitment to support your growth
Radical transparency in information sharing
Deep appreciation for your contributions
What we’ll expect from you:
An obsession with quality / excellence and delivering awesomeness
Ability to learn very quickly (including technology, industries, companies, and roles), a holistic love of lifelong learning -- and an ability to clearly, concisely, and simply explain what you learned
Fantastic intuition, a trust in that intuition, top-notch active listening skills, and an ability to be fully present
Phenomenal verbal and business writing skills (i.e. clear, concise, comprehensive), and the ability to write with efficiency / speed (e.g., client-friendly transcripts that can be created very quickly after interviews)
Ability to build and maintain incredible relationships for an incredible candidate experience
Dependability, responsibility, reliability, and a proactive, self-starter mentality
Comfort with imperfection and feedback, an ability to learn from mistakes, and a love of taking on new challenges
Excellence at managing expectations and risks, and proactive communication
A bit of quirkiness, with non-traditional "outside the box" thinking
The hiring process for our contractors:
Our hiring process is designed to be a mutually beneficial, two-way vetting process so that you can make a very informed decision about the work you choose to take on and ensure that it will bring you joy. It of course also helps us to ensure that you are truly set up for success in this role. We realize that it's more intensive than the average contractor position, but our experience shows that your effort and ours will pay off long term in spades.
Application & Initial Phone Call: We'll review your answers to the online questions. We deeply care about your answers, and consider them at least as important as your experience. If we feel like you've got strong potential to be a great fit, we'll schedule an initial phone call to ask you a few questions, tell you even more about the position and the company, and answer any questions you have.
Simulation: This is a mutually beneficial, two-way vetting process. It allows us to ensure you are set up for success in the role. It also allows you to try out the things you would be doing on a daily basis and make an informed decision about whether you would actually enjoy the role enough that you could be excited to work each day! It will take around an hour of your time, and you'll get to see the systems you would use, resources you might have access to, responsibilities you'd have, etc.
Interview with the Scalability Solutions founder (Leila), who can answer any additional questions you may have.
Proven experience (more than 2 years minimum) successfully leading your own team(s), as well as being an individual contributor with responsibility for actual deliverables –– preferably not people who have spent most of their careers as Recruiters or in HR. While there is certainly value in those roles, we augment the managerial side, and our clients deeply value that we have lived on their side of the fence.
Bachelor’s degree
Authorization to work in the US
Experience working with multiple clients and in multiple roles strongly preferred
Experience with hiring team members strongly preferred
