The Higher Education Skills Transformation Consultant is an Individual Contributor role responsible for advising university leaders on skills transformation in LATAM and North America (“Americas”). You will work closely with the Enterprise Sales and Customer Success teams to interact with higher education leadership in order to understand their learning objectives and strategy, help them develop skills transformation plans, and share curriculum recommendations from the Coursera catalogue. You will work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Data Science, Services, and Product teams to ensure that our customers know how to effectively transform their talent through Coursera. You will also work with our Content Strategy team to identify exciting new areas of learning for Coursera to invest in to help our higher ed customers deliver the highest quality curricula to their students, in particular.
This role is ideal for someone who can excel as a senior advisor to academic leaders, helping them use Coursera to build online curricula and give their students the skills they need to succeed in their lives and careers. You will have to quickly develop expertise in a wide variety of skill areas covering all aspects of a postsecondary curriculum, from engineering to business, technology, liberal arts, languages, sciences, etc. as well as occupational training and workforce development. You will have access to unlimited Coursera courses to help facilitate your professional development and effectiveness in this role.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as a senior advisor to postsecondary leaders on the future of higher education
- Understand the critical skills for the future that students must develop to be successful
- Be an expert on how Coursera’s offerings can help students build critical skills
- Develop thought leadership on how academic institutions should transform students’ skills
- Use your higher education expertise to support / guide Coursera’s go-to-market strategy
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles in higher education or workforce development
- Deep interest in online education and an abiding belief in its ability to transform lives
- An ability to quickly become an expert in new topic areas like artificial intelligence, data science, and cloud computing
- Strong executive presence and ability to present your work to external stakeholders including C-suite representatives
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and creative-problem solving abilities
- Proficiency with data analysis in Excel / Google sheets
- Attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working in ambiguous, quickly-changing environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience working or studying in Latin America
