We are seeking a Superstar Principal Product Designer to play a critical role in developing and executing the creative strategy of our Customer facing platform. You have a comprehensive portfolio with a focus on web applications, and a knack for mixing business and user goals as part of a holistic design process. You have extensive experience partnering with Engineering and Product Management and you truly enjoy collaborating with them to produce an excellent Customer experience.
Responsibilities and Duties- Partner closely with the product, engineering, and executive teams to define the product roadmap and design strategy
- Use customer research as a guiding principle to drive our Client Platform, visualizing vulnerability data, reporting capabilities into easily digestible and actionable client insights
- Be a key contributor to the development of the design team's culture and quality standards
- Lead and execute all aspects of design in a cross-functional team, including: user research, UX design, visual design, and prototyping
Here's what you'll need
- 5+ years of professional Product Design experience, at least 3 of those designing complex SaaS products
- A strong online portfolio available for submission at the application stage
- Experience as an end-to-end product designer who can manage all phases of the workflow (research, ideation, concept creation, validation all the way through to hi-fidelity designs) while collaborating with multiple disciplines
- Fondness for working across all aspects of design, leading a project from conception through completion
- Proficiency with industry standard design tools (figma)
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build great relationships, convey and debate design rationale
