We’re looking for a senior content writer who is passionate about – and maybe even a little obsessed with – the US college admissions process. You’ll spend the next two months writing articles to help students perfect their personal statements. This is a remote freelance position, so you can live and work from anywhere!
You’ll help us launch a new Knowledge Base category for the Scribbr website focused on writing personal statements and similar essays. Your goal is to write helpful content and help us reach our target audience: students who are applying to or attending an undergraduate college in the United States.
For this project, you will...
We are looking for somebody who can work full-time (or close) on this project for the next two months. If you are a good fit, then we will reach out to discuss your availability and hourly rate. If the project is successful, there is room to discuss additional work, as we are looking to expand our resources for US students.
We focus on writing 10x content that will launch our pages to the top of Google’s search results. We track the performance of this content using SEO tools and Google Analytics. You’ll walk away with some high-ranking articles for your portfolio!
You have a crystal clear writing style and write in flawless American English, and you have deep, first-hand knowledge of the college admission process in the US: these requirements are non-negotiable for this role.
In addition to these core qualifications...
We are looking for a native speaker of American English. However, this position is remote, so you can live and work from anywhere. If you're eager to hit the ground running, take ownership of your role and help students succeed – then apply now!
You’ve gone through the college admissions process yourself, so you know first-hand the pressure that high school students face during this time, and you can speak their language to write content that lands. Plus, you have the experience to hit the ground running with 10x content – and the portfolio to prove it. 🚀
Sound like you? Join our essay team, and take on the challenge of launching a new Knowledge Base category for the Scribbr website. Your work will be read and appreciated by hundreds of thousands of students every month.
