Natasha’s Kitchen is a recipe destination site with over 19 million visitors per month and over 3 million YouTube subscribers. Our mission is to share easy-to-follow family-friendly recipes that work.
We’re looking for a content management consultant to help our team. The consultant will be instrumental in providing editorial, creative, strategic, and organizational support for all original content, both written and video, published by Natasha’s Kitchen under the direction of the CEO, across multiple communications channels and for varying audiences.
The consultant provides an important bridge between the CEO and Marketing teams and works directly with the CEO. This is a great opportunity for a content professional with a strong interest in and passion for food and culinary arts, who wants to make a difference in a growing and thriving company.

What you’ll be doing:
Managing the content creation process
Identifying new content opportunities for both photo and video recipes
Monitoring food trends and determining if brand-appropriate
Partnering with the CEO to research and create dynamic content that reflects the dynamic voice of the brand
Updating and editing existing content for use across all media channels
Support the marketing team with copywriting/storytelling needs for social media, websites, etc.
Identifying opportunities for SEO updates, optimizing existing content for SEO, polishing dull copy, copyediting for errors, and expanding text to ensure content is comprehensive and improves the reader experience
Tracking results of content updates and optimizations
Working closely with Marketing to identify and prioritize cornerstone content promotion
Maintaining seasonal content calendar
Organizing and archiving consumer-ready recipes for publication
Driving the direction of daily social media content for company channels in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
Assisting the Marketing Manager in developing SEO content for online initiatives to improve performance
Providing project management on multiple content projects simultaneously, determining priorities and managing workflow and deliverables, administering schedules and production charts for media projects and duties, and ensuring project deadlines are met
Skills and experience a consultant will bring to this role:
Minimum of five years’ experience in writing and editing content, publishing, journalism, marketing, and project management, preferably for a digital brand
Extensive knowledge of cooking, recipes, and different kinds of cuisine experience required (2+ years)
Effective communicator with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Proactive, professional and positive communication skills with all levels of management
Ability to easily adopt an established brand voice and adhere to strict brand and quality guidelines
Detail oriented and able to work efficiently, independently and accurately
Adaptable and nimble with an ability to multitask, remain organized and prioritize
Discrete and able to manage confidential information
Proficiency in social media use including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, Pinterest
Proficiency in Word and Excel
Proficiency in Wordpress, SEMRUSH, SEOTesting, LastPass, Google Drive Suite, Slack, Convertkit, Airtable is a plus
