Job-Overview
The Content Creation Team will be comprised of financial planning subject matter experts, solely dedicated to creating, curating, and maintaining training content to home office support areas, Strategic Product Partners, and Branch Teams on the "what" and "how" of delivering the Edward Jones signature experience to clients. This team's primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain and align the firm's financial planning training content, inclusive of all Value Team priorities and functional capability needs, to activate and accelerate the full and evolving Edward Jones Client Team to "Deliver Experiences" to tens of millions of clients and their families.
We are looking to fill two roles with differing areas of subject matter expertise. Candidates for both roles should have general financial planning expertise, however, the first role has a concentration on multiple goals and education, while the second role will concentrate on estate legacy planning.
Lead the creation, curation, and maintenance of wealth management source content for training and coaching branch teams, home office associates and product partners.
Assist as an adult learning SME (Subject Matter Expert) to develop best practices on Estate and Legacy Planning guidance for all existing and future financial planning advice, planning, products, services, tools (Financial Foundation, Sales Force, MoneyGuide, IAP [Investment Advisory Platform], Banking Offerings, etc.).
Lead the effectiveness of GBA / Financial Planning communication and training programs, co-creating the strategy and development of face-to-face, virtual, online, and other modes of training for branch teams, home office branch support areas, and product partners.
Assist in the firm's transformation efforts from delivering Goals-based Advice (GBA) to Fiduciary Financial Planning training delivered to branch teams and home office associates.
Brings subject matter expertise in specific financial topic(s) of emphasis within Fiduciary Financial Planning to content creation work.
Assist as Estate and Legacy Planning SME to develop best practices on all existing and future financial planning advice, planning, products, services, tools (Financial Foundation, MoneyGuide Pro, IAP, Banking Offerings, etc.)
Apply and integrate goals-based advice / financial planning proven practices from client and branch insights into applicable branch team best practices, including a working knowledge of branch team and client support workflow to enact/train/skill-up key stakeholders to support region teams
Skills-Requirements
What is Needed for this Position:
Minimum 7 years' experience within financial services industry
Bachelor's degree required
All securities licenses required by area must be obtained within 6 months of hire (SIE, Series 7, Series 66)
General financial planning expertise, with strong experience in either multiple goals and education, or estate legacy planning.
What Could Set You Apart:
Knowledge of Financial Planning principals, technology, products, and solutions
Current CFP®, ChFC® or other credential holder (ex CIMA, CRPC, CEPA, CLU, JD)
Previous experience in financial services training, coaching, and / or consultation
Experience using MoneyGuide Pro or other similar financial planning software
Experience working with clients as a Financial Advisor or member of a planning team
