Sonic Boom Wellness, a Premise Health Company, is a fast-growing, B2B, software-as-a-service (SAAS) corporate wellbeing company specializing in improving employees’ daily health habits. Sonic Boom, a Premise Health Company offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team remotely.


Summary: The Graphic Designer will create the digital art, assets and marketing collateral for the products and features of Sonic Boom Wellness.


This is a hybrid role between Marketing and Digital Product and will work closely with the Product Design Lead. You will primarily be creating marketing collateral and digital artwork but will also assist with some UI/UX-related tasks as well as provide input into the broader visual language and design system.

Essential Functions:


  • Create icons, hero images, thumbnail art, animations and other types of digital illustration to be used across the Sonic Boom product experience (web, mobile, print, motion, etc).
  • Play a key role in preserving a consistent look-and-feel throughout the design and development of materials, protecting existing approved brand guidelines in all creative development.
  • Organize and archive all creative files developed under the approved shared file-naming system.
  • Make templates and lockups (fliers, posters, calendars, merchandise, etc) to be used at scale by our marketing, content and customer support teams
  • Craft a brand vision, style and visual identity for the digital art and illustration of Sonic Boom that resonates with our clients and members
  • Produce original concepts while working independently or with a writer, strategist, digital specialist or team lead.
  • Actively participate in creative ideation, brainstorming, internal meetings and activities.
  • Review your work with creative lead(s) before handing off to stakeholders.
  • Work with project managers to ensure that all deliverables are being met from both a content and timing standpoint.
  • Think in terms of components, pieces and lockups inside of apps, websites and print. And occasionally create some UI of your own.
  • Sometimes work on broadly defined, loose concepts; other times on narrowly defined, tactical deliverables.
  • Remains current on industry trends and technology.


Job Requirements:


  • 0 – 2 years experience working in a similar role either in-house or freelance.
  • You excel at color, hierarchy, composition, typography.
  • You can’t help but sketch, doodle, scribble and draw in your free time
  • Pride in ownership and work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Obsessed with taking an experience from good to great.
  • Proactive in ensuring design and brand cohesion across deliverables.
  • A talent for being scrappy and figuring out problems without explicit guidelines.
  • Love to solve problems and are eager to learn new things.
  • Are not afraid to ask “why?”
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment.


Preferred Experience:


  • Motion / animation / interaction
  • Branding / logo / identity design
  • Making icons or icon sets
  • Photo editing experience
  • Knowledge / interest in design & art history
  • A history working in an agile/lean environment
  • Familiarity with Sketch App or Figma
  • Familiarity with Principle for Mac

Compensation is between $60,000-$65,000. Premise offers a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time team members including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, annual CEU/CME allowance, and Tuition Reimbursement. Benefits offered to part-time team members include 401K, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and annual CEU/CME allowance. PRN team members may also enroll in 401K.
