Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud-based products and be responsible for proactively generating new business opportunities and proactively identifying and delivering services/solutions that directly contribute towards the organization’s digital transformation success.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a strategic and well-rounded plan for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities to ensure consistent revenue growth over time
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through self-initiated networking, prospecting, attending related events, and other lead generating activities
  • Work with our US sales team and their customers from another business unit to develop opportunities
  • Execute all steps of the sales process from initiation to close to continually generate and nurture relations with potential customer
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams, including supporting consultants and specialists, to develop transformative solution-based approaches for pre-sales meetings that fit each client’s unique needs
  • Actively ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining close contact with all customers – including follow ups on concerns or other issues
  • Provide high-level documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a bi-weekly basis to Vice President of Solutions Delivery & Director of Consulting Services
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments through ongoing learning opportunities, internal communications, and self-directed study

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of sale/business development experience in consultancy or service-oriented organizations, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem, with proven success in prospecting and developing new business relations and increasing revenue
    • Experience generating new business leads through self-sourced opportunities and already existing networks
    • Field sales experience within Cloud Development, Data Analytics, IT Staffing
  • Proficient and persuasive communicator, you are strongly driven and focused on results-oriented success, with proven and consistent results in business generation and development.
  • An established network and clientele base within the Cloud Development sphere and related tech/sectors, in Canada and the US:
    • Cloud Application Development
    • Application Modernization
    • Systems Integration
    • DevOps
    • MS Azure, Dynamics, M365, and other applicable MS related stacks
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively to generate new business opportunities
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of Cloud and development technology trends and can articulate them into layman's terms to provide unique solution-based approaches.
