We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and detail-orientedEmail Marketing Specialistto join our team. As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will play an instrumental role in bolstering our sales efforts through the development and execution of dynamic email and lead generation campaigns. This role encompasses managing email campaigns from inception to conversion with the objective of generating qualified leads and demo appointments for our sales team. You will also assist in predictive model forecasts for email campaigns, tracking outbound metrics, launching and managing campaigns on Hubspot, and maintaining campaign trackers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of email marketing tactics, campaign management, technical knowledge of email systems, and best practices in the field.
Your role extends beyond the execution phase as you will contribute to training sessions, creating resources, documentation, and assisting with pipeline data management.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and track all email campaigns and content including managing a calendar for up to two quarters in advance, indicating target audience size, themes, copywriting, approval routing, and campaign KPIs;
Develop and leverage a thorough understanding of campaign strategies and outreach performance to establish robust lead generation through email automation efforts;
Continually suggest improvements for email campaigns based on performance data;
Segment and manage audience lists for targeted campaign outreach. Optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert cold contacts into qualified leads;
Demonstrate knowledge of cold email best practices. Ensure email campaigns comply with industry standards and policies;
Develop a deep understanding and efficient usage of Hubspot;
Regularly track and analyze campaign metrics, including all KPIs and ROI analysis, weekly MQLs, and Sales Accepted Leads;
Ensure data integrity by regularly monitoring Hubspot database and be the point of contact for database issues resolution;
Execute conferences outreach pre and post event emails, including list preparation, copy creation, reporting, and campaign setup;
Monitor lead acquisition through the website and assign leads to appropriate Account Executives. Manage secondary inboxes used for email deployments;
Launch and optimize other marketing tactics for lead acquisition (e.g. online advertising, webinars etc.);
Keep up to date with emerging email marketing trends, best practices, and technologies to continuously improve our email marketing capabilities.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in email marketing and/or lead generation marketing, preferably in B2B markets;
Post-secondary degree/diploma in business, marketing, or related discipline;
Proven experience in planning, executing and optimizing email campaign performance with in-depth experience in A/B testing and other optimization techniques
Experience developing sales sequences and email automation strategies, proficiency in Hubspot is a must;
Strong business and sales acumen with proven lead generation success;
Excellent written and verbal communication with emphasis on strong copywriting skills;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional partners and leadership teams;
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with Asana, Google Analytics, ChatGPT and other email marketing tools;
Experience in higher education or EdTech.
