The Trust and Security Team plays a pivotal role within the sales organization. The primary function of a Trust and Security Engineer (Sales Engineer) is to lead the technical and operational discussion on how the Bugcrowd Platform can achieve a prospect’s security objectives. As a Federal Trust & Security Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will demonstrate technical and operational knowledge of the Bugcrowd platform and its competitive advantages to a variety of audiences including: CIO, CISOs, Security Directors, and Engineers. You will interface with sales, partners, engineering, marketing, and product teams as an authority in the field. This is a Remote role.

The position:

• Build technical and strategic partnerships with future Bugcrowd
• customers to align Bugcrowd’s solutions to organization’s security goals.
• Effectively communicate complex operational attack models to different roles
• within the government (engineers, analysts, and decision makers).
• Lead the scoping/discovery of potential attack targets.
• Speak and act as a Subject Matter Expert at security conferences.
• Gather product enhancements and take part in product roadmap conversations
• Partner closely with Government sales teams to help architect creative
• crowdsourced security programs
• Responsible for Product demonstrations and fielding any product-related
• questions.
• Maintain strong industry expertise.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in information security, preferably with experience
• working with emerging technologies.
• Robust knowledge of Offensive Security; namely Penetration Testing or Red Teaming
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work towards a goal and achieve milestones with minimal oversight
• Willingness to travel

Pay Range Disclosure:

The base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to Qualifications, Geographical Location, Education/certifications, Experience, Skill Sets, Training, and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for the position of Federal Trust and Security Engineer is: $149,300 - $202,700.

This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
