The primary role of the SEO Specialist is to analyze and execute search engine optimization campaigns for a small portfolio of client websites. This must be done within a defined scope, time, and cost based on the requirements and constraints of specific campaigns.
The SEO Specialist works closely with the Marketing Analyst, Digital Strategist, Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) and also the Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) to consistently improve client ROI. While the primary focus of the role is on complete SEO-based work, conversion rate optimization (CRO) is also a part of the role.
Although this is primarily a technical role, you will be required to attend all internal meetings and the occasional video call with clients.

Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis including function mastery and pivot tables
Ability to create and help the team execute digital marketing strategies
Experience working in the digital marketing and SEO industry
Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
Ability to manage multiple campaign projects, clients, and deadlines
Understanding the legal industry and how law firms work is a plus
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Experience with Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc) is a plus

Responsibilities
Work closely within a team to provide value to clients
Complete all assigned technical SEO tasks
Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and social media and campaigns
Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
Research and analyze competitor websites and online presence
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
