Job Title: Sr. UX/UI Designer, Medicare (Contract)
Location: 100% Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred - EST, CST, or MST)
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm (Eastern Time Zone)
Overview: We are seeking an experienced UI/UX designer for a contract position with the Aetna Medicare marketing team. This remote position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of UI/UX design experience, with expertise in digital products or services. The candidate must have a portfolio showcasing professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms. Proficiency in Figma is mandatory, along with skills in Adobe Creative Suite and AEM (Adobe Experience Manager). Healthcare or Medicare experience is a must.
Responsibilities
- Investigate user experience design requirements for digital assets related to the healthcare business segment.
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions, including wireframes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and components, as well as page layouts.
- Plan and execute user testing of UI elements, including CTAs, alert banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, internal and external designers to ensure tailored experiences for end users.
- Provide advice and guidance on implementing UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of UI/UX design experience.
- Portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for web and mobile platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of accessible design and best practices.
- Familiarity with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a large, complex client organization.
- Background in health care, insurance, or financial services.
- Bonus points for familiarity with HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, and Android Design Systems.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Human Factors, or equivalent/relevant work experience
