Location : Remote OK (Required to work hybrid if living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA)
Position Summary
We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist who has a passion for all things digital with respect to the mortgage industry. The Digital Marketing Specialist should encompass a knack for attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and solid communication and organization skills. This role necessitates profound expertise in the mortgage industry and the real estate sector. A comprehensive understanding of the mortgage market is imperative for success in this role, coupled with strategic insights into marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing overall performance.
This position involves a wealth of experience in effectively overseeing, expanding, and cultivating relationships with new affiliate partners. This position requires a deep and comprehensive understanding of affiliate marketing, showcasing profound knowledge and expertise in this domain. This position requires excellent analytical and project management skills to recommend and drive new digital programs. Experience implementing and managing successful digital programs in a fast-paced environment is an absolute must.
The Manager's main role is to execute the full cycle of digital marketing projects from digital "builds" through full-cycle online marketing programs. A strong understanding of digital project management (including information architecture, functional and technical specification requirements for websites, mobile applications, display ads, video ads, landing pages and email marketing) is essential.
Responsibilities
- Play an integral role in planning and execution of performance campaigns spanning across digital channels.
- Collaborate with design team on writing and implementing advertising copy for display/search ads, landing pages, video, and positioning to ensure brand standards and accuracy.
- Effectively oversee affiliate platforms and cultivate relationships with affiliate partners to facilitate positive campaign performance.
- Utilize strategic management techniques to inhibit obstacles and promote a collaborative environment that enhances the overall success of affiliate partners, lead partners or campaigns.
- Develop innovative campaign strategies and concepts aligned with the prevailing trends and dynamics in the mortgage industry.
- Proactively identify and secure new affiliate partners or lead generation partners through targeted acquisition strategies.
- Leverage insights into current market conditions, including trending interest rates, to formulate compelling approaches that capture the target audience's attention and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce, monitor, and optimize multiple digital campaigns.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Assist with weekly/monthly forecasting updates and budget flow management, including measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
- Ability to create materials and communications that are compliant, meeting all industry related requirements/regulations.
- Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption of emerging technologies.
- Forge collaborative partnerships with agencies and various vendor collaborators to foster both short-term and long-term growth of campaigns.
- Experience managing digital agencies holding them accountable for insightful reporting and actionable optimization recommendations.
- Continuously stay abreast of digital trends and technology.
- Make recommendations for new opportunities or enhancements to existing systems.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing display advertising, search advertising, programmatic advertising, contextual advertising, SEO/SEM, lead generation email campaigns, lead generation platforms, marketing database, social media campaigns and more.
- Proficient background in the mortgage industry and real estate sector, marked by substantial hands-on experience.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools and the media buying space (DSPs, DMPs, SSPs).
- Strong communication, writing and editing skills.
- Experience in setting up with CRO platforms (Optimizely, Google experiment, VWO).
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
Desired Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in digital marketing, affiliate marketing, lead generation, account management and data analysis.
- Experience in marketing financial services/mortgage is preferred.
