Position Summary:
 
The Business Analyst – Salesforce is responsible for business analysis, application design, configuration and administrative support for Salesforce solutions.  This individual will provide day to day support of user needs while working with business partners to outlining the growth and progression of the application.
 



Responsibilities and Duties

 Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:


·          Participates in requirements gathering, design workshops to understand applications’ functionality and support requirements.

·          Works with business and technology leaders to further define the support and project functions needed within the organization.

·          Application administrative support; manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups.

·          Manage operational requests and reporting including analysis, issue troubleshooting, prioritization and resolution. Build custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.

·          Work with internal change management team to develop training materials and provide training and support to Salesforce end users.

·          Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users

·          Work within a large agile team and business product owner(s). Gather, refine and document user stories and acceptance criteria.

·          Create/update data dictionary, data modeling and flow diagrams as needed. Document business process/data flows.

·          Participate in solution design and testing activities as needed. 

·          Support the evaluation of AppExchange & partner solutions. 

·          Continuous improvement and innovation on the Salesforce Consumer Goods platform.

·          Hands-on Salesforce configuration in Lightning environment. 

·          Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience: 

·          Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of technical certification and 1-2 years’ experience in an analytical role.

·          3+ years as a Salesforce Business Analyst.

·          Salesforce Certifications: Certified Administrator (ADM201).

·          Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders and end users.

·          Experience writing user stories, managing and prioritizing product backlog.

·          Experience in system development lifecycle activities supporting Salesforce migrations from test to production environment.

·          Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views,      and other content of intermediate complexity.

·          Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.

·          Strong data management abilities.

·          Proven ability to successfully drive projects to completion.

·          A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.

·          Minimal Travel required.

·          This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

 
 Preferred Skills and Experience: 


·          Experience in the Consumer Goods or Distribution industry

·          Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM211) certification.

·          Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications.

We use this Personal Information for the purposes of operating, managing, and maintaining our business, managing our workforce, and accomplishing our business purposes and objectives, including, for example, using Personal Information to:

·          Manage workforce activities and personnel generally, including for recruitment, background screening, performance management, career development, payments administration, employee training, leaves and promotions;

·          Administer hiring, promotion, and discipline;

·          Provide an efficient means for personnel to obtain the contact information of their colleagues so they may contact them;

·          Perform identity verification, accounting, audit, and other internal functions, such as internal investigations;

·          Monitor use of IT infrastructure, internet access, and electronic communication for unauthorized, unlawful, or inappropriate use;

·          Record phone calls for training, quality assurance, and legal compliance purposes;

·          Operate and manage IT and communications systems and facilities, allocate company assets and human resources, and undertake strategic planning and project management;

·          Obtain legal advice and establish, exercise or defend legal rights, and act on collection and discovery requests in the context of litigation, government investigations or regulatory audits or inquiries; and

·          Comply with law, legal process, investigations, internal policies and other requirements such as income tax deductions, monitoring, record-keeping and reporting obligations.
