The Role:
As a Senior Product Designer at GoodTime, you will help change the way modern companies hire new employees and how our customers use our product. The ideal candidate will need to be curious, strategic, product-minded, and possess deep intuition and passion for our product and our users. You will partner with the Product and Design Team to plan and conduct research to answer questions about user needs and behaviors, as well as evaluative research to identify opportunities for product improvements. You will apply the results of your research to wireframes and designs, delivering an improved user experience and defining new areas of product opportunity. You must have a deep understanding of methods and best practices, a passion for understanding our users, and the ability to tailor your communication style to customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
Core: Product design experience-Experience designing across multiple platforms. 8+ years of experience in Product Design working collaboratively with product and engineering teams.
Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes.
Collaboration with product manager and engineers
Design products that balance user experience and company objectives
Core: UX/Research-Ability to gain strong empathy and understanding of end users and their problems through quantitative and qualitative user research. Master of driving out the why behind the feature requests that are surfaced from users.
Design and execute studies that approach both user behavior and attitudes, using the right methodology for the right questions.
Strong desire to get to the root of customers’ problems.
Experience conducting evaluative benchmarking usability studies.
Attention to detail and a data-driven approach to understanding what's required for great user experiences.
Core: Visual design skill-Outstanding visual design skill. Portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrate experiences crafting usable digital interfaces. (Expert for Figma, need +3 years experience)
Simple and practical design for solving problems with typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, and iconography.
Design system : Extend our design system and seek ways to make our product and design process better, more straightforward and fun.
Responsive web design (Web and Mobile design) : Extensive experience developing web for desktop and mobile.
Start-up experience with designing B2B/SaaS Products
