Senior Editor - Financial Services
The Senior Editor is responsible for the development of multi-channel content in accordance with strategies developed for B2C financial services clients. The right person for this position is comfortable simultaneously leading projects, communicating with clients and providing day-to-day solutions within the agency. In this position you will work with a team of content editors, freelance writers as well agency strategy, social, and audience development teams to produce high-quality content. Together with the content director, you'll be responsible for maintaining client and team satisfaction.
About You:
? Have 4-6 years of digital content experience
? Experience creating financial or professional services content required
? Constantly coming up with creative new ideas that meet clients' business objectives
? Strategic problem solver
? Highly organized with strong project management skills
? Clear, effective communicator-verbally and in writing-with the ability to be persuasive without being pushy
? Comfortable interacting with clients and collaborating to solve problems
? Strong knowledge of all content types and channels
? Experience with social content creation and management
? Strong writing and editing skills and the ability to ask big-picture questions
? Can manage a high volume of content in a deadline-driven environment
Specific Responsibilities:
? Work closely with the content director on all editorial/content matters
? Help manage content creation process and workflow of one or more accounts
? Help lead brainstorming meetings with the content director to develop story ideas and editorial calendars that meet client needs
? Write and/or edit content across multiple formats, including e-newsletters, SEO-optimized articles, infographics, ebooks, quizzes, interactive photos, motion-graphic videos and live-action videos
? Develop social content calendars, post content and manage channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
? Calmly and diligently juggle multiple, results-oriented initiatives under tight turnarounds
? Help manage junior team members as needed
? Collaborate across teams, including video and digital development and design
? Work closely with analytics and audience development teams for paid social promotions and native advertising campaigns
