Marketing Automation Manager (Remote)

To set you up for success, we have researched which regions, districts, and schools would respond positively to Coding, STEM and STEAM. We have analyzed which approaches work best to reach educators and learners. Using a customer centric approach, you will put this into action and create the feedback loops to generate our future insights.

As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will grow our customer base to its full potential while nurturing our existing, and inspiring, educators. You will report directly to the Head of of Marketing. Driven by passion, data, and collaboration, we’re on a mission to be the leading player in the future of education and you will play a crucial role in our continued growth and success.

You have: 

  • Domain expertise in B2B or B2C marketing, including a solid understanding of lead generation and inbound marketing. 
  • Ability to flex into other marketing areas as opportunities arise. 
  • Project or program management skills, you know how to structure problems and marshall efforts. 
  • Proficiency with marketing automation technology. 
  • Comfort with HTML/CSS for email or web UX. 
  • Understanding of SEO, experience with SEO tools and techniques.
  • Uncanny ability to leave things better than you found them. 
  • Outstanding problem solving skills, removing roadblocks and finding a better way.
  • Excellent track record of professional growth. 
  • Experience leading business process improvement through agile/lean methodologies. 
  • A learners approach with a doers mindset. 
  • 2-5+ years of experience, ideally in education or edtech. 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience using Google Analytics, Moz, Gsuite, Craft, Zapier, Shopify, Hubspot.
  • Web development (front end) ability or familiarity.
  • Data science skills.
  • Knowledge of UX/design principles and practices.
  • Experience in database management.
  • Demonstrated success with multi-channel marketing efforts. 
  • E-commerce knowledge.

Responsibilities and Duties
You will:
  • Build and manage 'the marketing engine' to deliver a steady stream of leads, engagement and revenue.
  • Launch and tune digital marketing campaigns.
  • Always be learning and guide our team to smarter marketing.
  • Optimize our lead scoring and nurturing for various segments.
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation for marketing efforts.
  • Segment audiences to deliver more relevant information to both future and existing customers.  
  • Enable data pipelines and data capture to guide our marketing efforts. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in our practices and processes on behalf of customers.
