What you’ll be doing:

Represent Unbounce’s brand through content that is original, empathetic, and entertaining—as well as aligned with our voice and tone (We don’t wanna sound like just another software company.)
Author outstanding thought leadership content based on a thorough understanding of the marketing landscape, our product segment, and our target audience
Write and produce multimedia content (e.g., webinars, social videos, podcasts) and help us reach our audience through new or underutilized channels
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently, tracking and communicating progress within the working group and to stakeholders
Report on key performance indicators, takeaways, and learnings related to projects on a regular basis (and apply these learnings to future projects)
Act as a mentor for other members of the content team and marketing department. Provide editorial support for fellow writers (and occasionally freelancers or agencies). Be a leading voice in editorial meetings and long-term content planning
Serve as a champion for content within the marketing department and throughout the company. Represent content initiatives in marketing all-hands, show and tells, and other organizational meetings
A little bit about you:
You have 4+ years of experience in SaaS marketing and content creation, with a strong and varied portfolio of work to share with us
You have exceptional writing and editing abilities. (Plus experience writing for both long-form editorial and multimedia content.) You have great instincts on how to slice and dice or reuse content that already exists
You’re a relentless advocate for creating content that delivers real value. You want to write stuff that is unique, interesting, even funny—while also educating and problem-solving for our audience
You have a proven track record for taking complex marketing campaign materials over the line, interfacing with various stakeholders, and are comfy with some amount of ambiguity
You're adept at delivering feedback and reviewing work with an eye toward developing the talents of others. You’re excited to step into a mentorship role and work closely with other writers
You’re self-motivated and have a personal drive to improve and achieve, as well as a readiness to identify and act on opportunities. You forge a path and often lead content initiatives
You excel at working cooperatively with others as a part of a team. You have relationship-building and social skills that foster positive and collaborative work environments. You wanna help out—because that’s just who you are
You have a desire to pursue objective and data-driven decision-making, and an ability to navigate and effectively draw insights from multiple data points
