Location
This role has the ability to work remotely within the United States. Occasional travel to the client site in the Washington DC area may be required. You must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship.
What will you do?
Bixal has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Content Designer and help accelerate digital transformation for federal clients. You will be part of a cross-functional team applying human-centered innovation and effective communication strategies to improve engagement. You will work with a team to make continuous improvements to efforts to drive engagement and growth across communications platforms.
Important note
This is a full-time proposal position contingent on contract award. Please note that we will be conducting interviews until Thursday, May 11th.
Responsibilities
Enter new or edited content into the client’s content management system (CMS) or other designated systems and ensure all content is accurate and functional both before and after publication;
Manage daily content publication requests for client website, including management of email inbox, tracking of requests, and implementation of requests (staging, editing, and publishing);
Liaise with content creators and project stakeholders across the client agency to coordinate postings, advise on best practices, stage and publish content according to established timelines;
Collaborate with website team user experience designers and developers to improve, audit, and iterate on the CMS and CMS functionality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
2 years of relevant experience.
Must be a United States citizen as required by the client.
Ability to undergo a background investigation by the U.S. government and meet eligibility requirements for suitability.
Experience using a content management system to rapidly build out and construct website pages to client standards.
Experience performing website editorial activities including content/imagery changes, content auditing and migration, and ongoing content planning efforts.
Experience managing communication around website content requests and/or providing support on web projects for medium to large organizations.
