About The Role


We are looking for a Business Development Intern to join our Finance & Strategy team for the Fall 2023 term (September - December). As a Business Development Intern at Super.com, you will work across various projects in a fast-paced startup environment. Specifically, you will work on researching new markets, identifying and assessing partnership opportunities, and supporting various financial analysis projects.


Challenges You'll Solve


  • Corporate Strategy / Special Projects: Ideate and research new opportunities, ecosystem mapping, market, and opportunity sizing
  • Partnerships & Business Development: Identify businesses that meet our partnership criteria; develop and conduct prospecting campaigns through email, outbound calling and LinkedIn; maintain and build a proprietary database of industry contacts
  • Financial Analysis: peer tracking and monitoring; craft materials for key stakeholders including board members, existing and potential investors, and commercial partners

About You


  • You are a post-secondary student, studying in Finance, Business or a related field with a fundamental understanding of finance principles
  • Ideally 1-2 work terms in venture capital, management consulting, or corporate strategy at another tech startup/scale-up
  • You have a passion for numbers, data, spreadsheets and small details
  • You have a strong work ethic with a desire to contribute to a fast-growing startup team
  • You are a critical thinker & problem-solver
  • You have the ability to learn quickly, paired with the desire to work hard
