Experience Design group is a recently formed team of 20 highly experienced design professionals, spanning research, strategy, service, interaction, and interface design. RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Senior Experience Designer, you will be focused on "Usability testing & product research, Interaction design, Visual design"
Lead and execute design and research from discovery to launch and beyond.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout research, design, and development— including generative and evaluative research, visioning, creating user journeys and solution concepts, designing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and ongoing measurement Create human-centered experience ecosystems, journey maps, service blueprints, and other key artifacts to ensure purposeful and clear experiences. QUALIFICATIONSBA/BS in Design (graphic design, interaction design, industrial design), Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Cognitive Science, Cultural Anthropology, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5-7 years of experience with experience design and research, ideally in a large enterprise, preferably B2B.
Experience in Insurance and/or other Financial Services is a plus.
Proficiency participating in and executing elements of the design process and methodologies ranging from concept development to launch Proven track record of creating experience and service design maps, journeys, concept sketches and storyboards, interaction designs and screen flows, visual designs, and prototypes. Ability to translate complex information into clear, easy-to-understand experiences and interfaces. Strong visual design sensibility that balances aesthetics with functionality.Proficient in a diverse set of design and research tools (e.g. Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, UserZoom, Optimal workshop, and others).Experience creating experience design and research artifacts, such as journey maps, flows, and storyboardsAn understanding of research methods including experimental design, generating research plans, defining and tracking experience metrics, data analyses (qual and quant), data synthesis, and coordinating work on multiple products Experience working with cross-functional teams, collaborating with business, technology, and a whole host of subject matter experts to influence decisions based on human-centric design priorities Good communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization Portfolio of work showcasing research rationale and key deliverables throughout a research and design lifecycle (e.g., initial research through in-production testing), with examples of key deliverables, stories, and recommendations at each stage Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively on complex and ambiguous endeavors Willingness to continuously learn and practice Servant Leadership
