👩‍💻The Role


We are looking for a Business Development Manager - USA (West Coast) to join our North American Business Team. Reporting to the General Manager - North America, the BD Manager will lead our commercial efforts and expansion in the West Coast. You will be the face and voice of Headout to our Supply Partners in the region.


🤩What makes this role special?


  • You'll have your fingerprints all over Headout's. You'll do whatever it takes to launch quickly, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details - from what cities or regions to launch next, to how we can keep bananas and avocados ripe to ultimately minimize spoilage.
  • Identify, reach-out and onboard new Supply Partners in the West Coast on the Headout platform
  • Develop relationships with our existing Supply Partners in order to leverage them for additional growth
  • Liaise between internal stakeholders (Operations, Tech, Marketing, etc) and your accounts in order to ensure smooth execution of the partnerships and growth of bookings
  • Identify, reach out to and sign distribution-side partnerships in the West Coast


💝What skills & experience do you need?


  • Native English speaker (open to remote applications)
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, ideally in the entertainment and/or tourism industry
  • Experience working with a CRM - eager to learn and use new tools


Bonus


  • You have experience starting or scaling a successful startup.
  • You have a demonstrated interest in marketplaces, travel, events and all things experiential.
  • You have spent a considerable amount of time in the West Coast and really understand the market's pulse.
  • Graduate from a Business School (or similar)


This role will have a base pay range of $100,000 - $120,000 based on the candidate's location, background and experience. Our total compensation package also includes incentive compensation and early equity via our ESOP program.
