Burton Engineering is a leading civil engineering firm seeking a CAD Designer with AutoCAD – Civil 3D expertise and a passion for land development.
Role Overview:
Join our team and play a vital role in the production of civil site construction documents and technical drawings. Help us meet client needs, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Project Engineer/Designer in project planning.
Facilitate effective communication with clients and regulatory bodies.
Attend client meetings and project kickoffs to understand project requirements.
Provide technical input and ensure quality standards are met.
Coordinate with government agencies for compliance.
Manage client change orders.
Perform periodic quality reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or AutoCAD Drafting, or a two-year associate degree.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Flexible work hours based on client needs.
Occasional evening meetings with government agencies.
Mainly office work with occasional on-site visits in varying conditions.
