As the Customer Response Specialist, you will have assigned account responsibilities and serve as the primary point of contact for issues for Gilbarco’s distributor, national and international accounts. You will be part of the Customer Impact team, supporting the activities of the corresponding Customer Impact Manager. You will ensure we deliver excellent customer service for our accounts, help remove obstacles and rapidly remedy issues for the accounts, and support the Customer Impact team to improve order fulfillment accuracy. Open to remote work from any location but willing to work in the Eastern Time Zone.
What You Will Do
- Act as the first point of escalation within Greensboro to provide support for customer issue requests.
- Take ownership of and drive resolution on any customer issue. This may include submitting no-charge orders, issuing credit memos, etc…
- Engage appropriate functions within Greensboro (Sales Management, Marketing, Service, Finance, and Engineering) to drive all inquiries to closure and track progress through AX.
- Build or strengthen relationships with customers and internal stakeholders supporting the same accounts (sales, CSAMs).
- Participate in Customer Impact team strategic actions and process improvement projects.
- Support the overall responsibilities and goals of the Customer Impact team.
- Assist in case analysis and escalate suspected systemic issues to the Prevention side of the Customer Impact team.
Who You Are
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Business Background, Finance Background, and/or Gilbarco-specific product knowledge a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment in resolving indeterminate problems that may require tradeoffs with no clear best solution.
- Technical skills using standard office software (Microsoft products), AX ERP, and user-level understanding of database systems
- Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred

The base compensation range for this position is $77,000 to $85,000 per year.
