Trade School is searching for a talented Senior Content Creator to join our team of multidisciplinary misfits. Our dream candidate is a master of technique and story. An expert at many different things. That’s right, you are a shape-changer, a multitool hybrid with many production-related skills like shooting video, capturing stills, editing video, retouching images, motion design work, directing talent as a Director and even acting as a Producer. The point is you go deep in more than one area, you have a whole pack of production resources that approach production in the same way.
You are conceptual and can work with our creative team to come up with versions of the work without being told exactly what to do - in fact by the time the creative team gets to you, you’ve already pulled together a few ideas and prototypes for creative to react to and are ready to discuss. Also, you are an expert at all forms of media from broadcast to TikTok, know how to make work that resonates specifically in each platform, and have the reel and social sites to prove it. Last but not least, you hustle. You are a hustler. You get restless when you are sitting still. If a job hasn’t been appointed to you, you are busy making content for the company’s social media pages.
Role & Responsibilities

- You have been the editorial lead on a variety of projects, in regards to scope, style and platform and have the reel to show for it.
- You are an expert on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You should have experience creating content for social media, be comfortable with same-day turnaround, and take minimal direction.
- You are an expert at editing for broadcast including digital TV, CTV and cable television.
- You have skills in motion graphics - specifically using After Effects.
- You are an active member of the post-production process, not just a cog in the machine.

- Help define schedules and processes to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Work closely with production and creative teams to find directorial, shooting, and editorial solutions.
