Ascend Media is a dynamic and rapidly growing performance marketing agency that thrives on innovation and creativity. We generate leads and calls in real time that drive high-intent customers for some of the largest insurance and home service brands in the nation. We don’t charge our clients retainers but rather only charge them based on results. We’re an “eat what you kill” type marketing agency and we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Strategic Partnerships.


Key Responsibilities (What You Love Doing)

  • Prospecting and proactively creating new and strategic business relationships.
  • Finding ways to make the most out of every opportunity.
  • Creating pipelines of prospects and nurturing them along the sales journey.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel within target organizations.
  • Continuously foster and nurture ongoing relationships.
  • Proactively keeping track of performance goals of our clients and ensuring they’re met by the team.
  • You enjoy business travel and conference networking

Ideal Candidate

  • A proven track record in generating and maintaining strategic business relationships.(3+ years)
  • Experience working with small startup teams and large public companies
  • A competitive edge that extends beyond work (sports, learning, fitness, etc)
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills - especially as it pertains to business dealings
  • High level of organization, initiative, responsibility and excellent work ethic.
  • Meticulously add and organize prospects in the sales pipeline, guiding them along their journey.
  • Someone who has a proven sales record in our target industries (insurance,home services, financial services, legal).
  • Ability to work independently and transparently, and to communicate proficiently within a remote team.
  • strong sales orientation.
  • Able to speak to clients on eye level and a proven ability to prospect and close within the B2B market.
  • Ability to research, initiate and implement sales opportunities.
  • Is capable and familiar with working in and with startups and large scale corporate companies and an understanding of both cultures.
  • Someone with experience working in the pay-per-call and lead generation space.

Someone with a background of working businesses in the insurance, home improvement and/or financial services space
