Job Description
The Key Account Manager position involves exploring initiatives to work with partners, approach potential customers, and help them start their online businesses.We have different levels for this position. Your resume will be reviewed according to your years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Effective employment and management of the entire sales lifecycle.
- Employ defined and established methods for identifying prospective merchants.
- Participate and, where required, lead Go-to-Market planning efforts to develop and execute on-demand generation, structured sales acceleration programs and activities (online & offline marketing events). This will include close collaboration with regional marketing, product marketing, global partner and other growth acceleration teams.
- Ability to close deals by providing solution value to merchants that are based on Shoplazza's diverse set of product solutions.
- Being a trusted advisor helps the continued revenue growth of merchants by providing recommended products/solutions, as well as helps communicate merchant's product feedback to internal product teams on time, which ensures a proactive product iteration process.
- Facilitate and lead local pipeline meetings with the relevant local stakeholders, including those at the executive level, ensuring the markets are kept up to date on where they are against scorecard measures and how our products are working to close any gap.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitors' products, prices, and sales.
- Develop and maintain account plans to report commercial progress to Shoplazza's executives.
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of experience in SaaS or eCommerce technology.
- Understanding of and good knowledge of working with merchants.
- Excitement about the eCommerce space and the opportunities it creates for sellers and buyers.
- Strong sales financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the merchant ecosystem.
- High level of problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
- Learning agility. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills in dealing with opportunities and issues.
- Experience in managing multiple internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to travel if required.
Working conditions
This is a permanent full-time position, working remotely, and may be required to come to the office occasionally
