Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Customer Success Manager due to growth in the UK market. The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for the overall health and satisfaction of Applied UK’s strategic customers, working in collaboration with Sales, Services, Support, Development and Product Management. This individual will work across our broker channel ensuring our customers gain the most value possible from their investment in Applied technology.

As Applied establishes Customer Success as a global function, this individual will contribute to the global definition of customer success processes and success criteria, and, as such, is expected to be passionate about customer engagement, advocacy, and growth both within the UK and throughout Applied overall.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as an executive sponsor for key customers, including partnering with Sales on account strategy and overall customer health.
  • Lead the governance process for strategic customers, including establishing consistent presentation content, success criteria, and shared issue tracking.
  • Lead cross-functional teams focused on resolving escalated customer issues
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and Development, particularly in ensuring overall alignment with customer expectations on strategic, large-scale directed development engagements.
  • Collaborate with Services leaders, identifying optimization opportunities within accounts and handing over for execution, while staying closely engaged on progress and outcomes
  • Utilise strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as technical and industry knowledge to establish credibility with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Manage and escalate client and/or department related issues as required.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work hybrid from our Belfast / Brighton office, or remotely but with the ability for 25% travel to Belfast / Brighton

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 10+ years in insurance, consulting, technology or software industry preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate as an executive level as a trusted advisor in the insurance industry
  • Advanced knowledge of methodologies across core services business (implementation and optimization)
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance industry and/or Applied product portfolio
  • Advanced knowledge of professional services within a software company
  • Ability to work with customers as they complete their implementation journey
