We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to coordinate, simplify, and continuously improve the administrative processes that keep our engine running. The twist is that we are a remote team with international operations, so this is a great role for a talented office administrator with enterprise software, networking, or telecommunications experience, who is looking for a bigger challenge.
This will be a remote position, however, it is preferable that you are located in the area of Portland, Oregon.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Ensure the overall efficiency of general and administrative operations by coordinating the activities of outsourced service providers and internal resources.
- Oversee budgeting and accounting activities, including payroll, A/P, A/R, bank reconciliation, government remittances, and financial reporting for entities in the USA, Canada, and Europe.
- Oversee human resources activities, including attracting, hiring, and onboarding new employees; managing benefits programs and regulatory compliance; and driving programs to maximize employee engagement.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Team and coordinate additional projects as necessary.
In order to be considered you must have:
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with venture-backed enterprise software, networking, or telecommunications companies.
- Outstanding organizational and communications skills in English.
- Experience overseeing outsourced service providers, such as accountants and HR services.
- Experience coordinating across multiple international entities would be an asset.
