Due to the growth our business services division, Community Tax, LLC is seeking a career minded individual with Full Charge Bookkeeping / Accounting experience to service a diverse clientele as we expand, attracting new clients nationwide. We need a skilled professional with the ability to work with clients across multiple industries. Our accounting/bookkeeping service clients are law firms, medical firms, real estate firms, professional and software services, manufacturers, e-commerce firms, construction firms and myriad of small businesses. We are growing fast and the career opportunity is tremendous for an individual with strong bookkeeping / accounting services experience and client interaction skills.

You will be doing start to finish bookkeeping for a variety of clients. This includes Assisting clients in setup, correcting clients' financials, completing books each month, doing a review and presenting financials at the end of each month. You'll ensure Sales and Use tax accuracy and if applicable ensure payroll is accurate and all reporting done. We provide our clients peace of mind knowing they can focus on running their business while Finance Pal ensures all critical bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and taxes are complete timely and accurately, providing a sound financial foundation.

The ideal candidate will have experience with a public accounting or bookkeeping services firm working with a variety of clients and experience with GAAP accounting and working with clients in both accrual and cash basis bookkeeping and accounting;

This position can be performed on a REMOTE, WFH basis. We are interviewing and hiring now.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain multiple corporate clients' books/systems, including any related data entry
• Working with Automated Bank Feeds
• Making adjusting journal entries, balance sheet and P&L reconciliation
• Working with accruals
• High volume bank reconciliations
• Full Charge bookkeeping responsibilities
• Answer any related calls from clients
• Other various accounting or administrative duties as required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years Full Charge Bookkeeping or equivalent experience as an Accountant for multiple clients in a public accounting or bookkeeping service environment
• College degree preferred
• Significant experience and understanding of GAAP applied to multiple clients or entities
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience and proficiency required. CERTIFICATION preferred
• Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliation experience
• Experience reconciling accounts receivable and/or accounts payable
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, for frequent client interaction
• Payroll experience a plus.
• Tax preparation experience with 1120 and 1120S preparation experience is a significant plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
