This is a mid-level advertising agency position within our Digital Marketing team. While overseeing our clients’ digital strategy, this analytical and insights driven person will be responsible for key client and internal relationships.



Responsibilities and Duties

What does a Director, Digital Strategy do at our agency?

  • Leverages data to develop customer profiles, insights and recommendations.
  • Understands the fundamentals of digital media and how to leverage media to drive customer engagement.
  • Builds customer relationship-marketing strategies (e.g., customer journey, test plans, segmentation).
  • Researches new channels, categories and target audiences to create written presentations to drive direct to B2C and B2B digital campaigns.
  • Writes insightful and data driven Creative Briefs, Contact Strategies and detailed Marketing Plans.
  • Accesses 1st and 3rd party research and data to deliver strategic recommendations and rationale across Paid, Owned and Earned media channels.
  • Supports the New Business team to prepare presentations and strategies and help drive agency growth.



What makes a great Director, Digital Strategy at Rain the Growth Agency?

  • 8+ years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or analytics.
  • Experience creating complex cross-channel digital marketing programs, including digital media, social media, programmatic media, and influencer campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the worlds of media planning and buying, and analytics.
  • Confidence in presenting to clients and colleagues, engaging and effective when presenting the agency POV.
  • Critical thinking and good problem-solving abilities.
  • A high level of caring about actionable outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal communication and even better written communications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Appreciation of Rain’s Core Values.
