Director of Project Management - Remote Area is northeast - US only.

Day in the life
This role is remote , we are looking for someone who is accessible in the Northeastern area of the US. You will be responsible for managing and directing high performance teams (up to 5 employees) to deliver upon a large portfolio of projects for a specific client. Complex programs are defined as multiple product implementations combined with development, systems integration.
As the Director, you will provide overall leadership, vision, strategic planning and oversight for engagements, operations, and leveraging the BOS (Back Office Systems) in the Transportation or Tolling Industry. You will be responsible for overseeing to ensure we are delivering various types from mid to large, complex programs, which impact multiple diverse fields and functions across the program enterprise. As part of your responsibility, you will develop and grow high performance.
General Profile
Develops functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of strategy.
Manage corporate and client facing tactical engagements which have a planned/fixed start and end.
Decisions are guided by area strategy and priorities.
PMP is required. Strong project management skills.
Requires broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, and practices.
Analyze, assess, operations, processes, tools, and practices to increase and improve the cost and satisfaction levels for both corporate and client facing activities.
Business Expertise
End to End contract delivery. This Lifecycle comprises of services delivery phase include business operations, technical delivery, financial and operational readiness of tolling contracts.
BOS - Back Office Systems in the Tolling industry. Understanding volume and complexity of transactions. Video transactions, and other electronic interfaces.
Responsible for technical delivery, project leadership, quality, and timely delivery of the project
Financial and Operational experience. This is not limited to influence of cost, quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Specific knowledge and experience of Tolling or Transportation business. HIGHLY DESIRED.
Impact
Impacts business results of own area in the short and long term, with potential impact on the company. Guided by business area strategy.
Delivery of projects to meet contract/project deliverables in a timely manner while remaining within budget.

Leads through subordinate managers.
Provides leadership and direction through managers.

Management responsibilities include performance appraisals, pay reviews, training and development for three or more employees.
