The Position

We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and innovative individual that's looking to make an impact on a highly skilled recruiting team. The successful candidate will have an innate "bloodhound" instinct that drives them on to find that elusive and ephemeral perfect candidate. Externally, you will work on contingency and retained search for our clients seeking talent. You will be tasked with filling internal positions for our project-base data science and engineering team.

The Technical Recruiter will have a successful track record of making placements for highly technical, data-oriented positions in an agency model.

Specifically, the Technical Recruiter will:

• Use our proprietary hiring platform with its AI matching algorithm to place data professionals across all levels of seniority at client companies
• Source potential candidates on niche platforms like Stack Overflow, Github, Kaggle, and social media groups
• Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes
• Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities
• Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
• Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
• Help train and bring new recruiters up to speed
• Promote client's reputation as a great place to work
• Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
• Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products

The Person

Qualifications & Experience

An undergraduate degree. Computer science or data science is a plus. The Technical Recruiter should have at least three years of experience, including:

• Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter in a data-related field within a recruiting agency
• Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Zoom, and structured)
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
• Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
