Position Overview
Bytemark is seeking an energetic and experienced Sr. Project Manager to join our team. While most of the clients managed by this position will be located throughout North America, the role itself will be located in Toronto, ON, Canada
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, or Relevant Experience as applicable
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Transit / Transportation industry, mobile payments, mobile devices and / or User Experience a plus
- Experience with software or web / mobile technology industry
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Multilingual a bonus
- Travel as needed / applicable

Responsibilities and Duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their business objectives
- Determine project requirements and work with the team to create user stories for the developers
- Responsible for Project Delivery / Schedule adherence from Kick-off through Closeout.
- Ability to communicate effectively and regularly with stakeholders regarding current project status, schedules, risks, and key deliverables
- Work closely with the development team to prioritize projects and tasks
- Ensure that all projects are completed on or ahead of schedule; while keeping an eye towards profitability
- Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved through the change control process
- Resolve and/or escalate issues and risks in a timely fashion
- Lead risk management within project teams, ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
