Job Description

As a Digital Design Intern, you'll obtain hands-on design experience and learn from a high-performance team of accomplished creative and marketing professionals. Our Creative Strategies team offers a meaningful and unique experience to grow within by fusing business strategy with creativity and ingenuity. The

Digital Design Intern will assist the Marketing and Creative Strategies Manager and our Creative Strategists to create various digital marketing assets and web designs that engage and inspire.

We're looking for a student who is collaborative, organized, a self-starter and can add a fresh perspective. This opportunity has high potential for a full-time position on the Creative Strategies team.

The summer internship is a remote opportunity and open to anyone residing in the United States.

Awareness of current trends in digital design is a must. Creative individual with the ability to visualize, interpret and express external ideas; is detail oriented; is outgoing, friendly and works well with others; and can meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy in a high demand environment. Must be able to take creative direction and constructive feedback.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Work on various creative assets across digital mediums, such as our website, social media, and presentations.
• Assist in website updates as needed, such as refreshing content and updating files.
• Help our team strengthen and apply our branding standards into all projects.
• Fuse data and analytics into design to create exceptional user experiences that engage and inspire.
• Self-starter; willingness to jump in and be proactive.
• Organized; able to communicate thoughts, ideas, and project updates clearly.
• Collaborative; able to lean on and communicate with team members to achieve goals and complete projects.

Qualifications

Education

(Highest Level Required/Preferred):

• High School diploma and currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a program through an accredited University working towards a design degree or a related field
  

Technical Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience designing posts for social media
• Preferred website experience
• Preferred experience with UX prototyping tools such as Adobe XD
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; PowerPoint is required.
• Portfolio of work exhibiting diversity of candidate's abilities.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required

• Thorough knowledge, skills and practical experience of the Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Portfolio and/or samples of previous work required.
• Strong working knowledge and experience with graphic and digital design.
• Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective collaboration skills.
• Experience in website content creation.
• Working knowledge and understanding of functions, processes and procedures for Communications and Marketing.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader.
