We are currently seeking a mid-level Technical Recruiter for our growing team.


Job Description:


In this position, you’ll be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle. You will work with Project Managers to assess requirements and draft job descriptions. As the Technical Recruiter, you will utilize internal and external resources to source candidates, conduct initial interviews and facilitate technical and final interviews.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Crafting targeted Boolean searches to identify top-talent
  • Sourcing candidates via internal database and appropriate job boards
  • Update & maintain applicant tracking database
  • Building and maintaining a relationship with prospective candidates through consistent communication
  • Assess candidate “fit” and technical competency through phone interviews
  • Presenting job offers and negotiating salaries
  • Maintaining an understanding of current affairs as they pertain to the Department of Veteran Affairs and federal contracting


Required Skills / Experience:


  • 2-4 years of combined in-house and agency recruitment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Prior experience working remotely with the ability to self-manage time and priorities
  • A strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to understand technical jargon and communicate with technical resources
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-service skills
  • Experience recruiting for federal contracts or Healthcare IT a plus
