Are you a Big Idea thinker and a hands-on leader? We are seeking an experienced Associate Creative Director who will open minds and opportunities through the force of your talent. You will oversee and actively participate in the entire creative process, from ideation to pitch to execution. You will bring brands to life and campaigns to audiences. And you will guide and mentor teams of art directors, designers, copywriters and content producers.
The Associate Creative Director will partner with Strategy and Account leads across media and disciplines to create portfolio-worthy work that opens more possibilities for our clients. We’re seeking a team player and creative visionary who can ideate as well as they can create.
What You Will Do
- Provide strategic vision and hands-on leadership to a team of digital creatives, including designers, copywriters, and content creators, fostering a culture of both creativity and execution excellence.
- You will be mentor and lead the process of big idea generation for campaigns and brand systems, from brainstorm to roll-out.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals, translating these insights into innovative creative experiences that not only meet but exceed their expectations and drive tangible results.
- Establish and maintain outstanding quality by originating unique creative ideas across any and all media, aligning creative deliverables to the goals outlined in Creative Briefs, selecting/approving and/or recommending selected vendors, directors, and photographers to clients to create individual projects, ensuring consistency of strategic branding
- Present concepts to clients and act as the client’s point person and liaison for any and all creative questions, concerns or ideas, developing collaborative relationships with and gaining the trust of clients when it comes to any and all creative matters
- Develop and participate in new business pitches, actively growing the agency success
Experience You Need
- Bachelor’s degree / Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising, Communications, Fine Arts, Filmmaking, or similar field
- 8 – 10 years of copy and/or design experience (advertising, web, filmmaking, digital) in an agency or client setting, with 5+ years of supervising staff
- Team management and client-facing experience – proven track record developing successful advertising, branding and/or public relations campaigns
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices across media (display, OOH, broadcast, OTT/CTV, web, social, print, and experiential)
- Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and clients
- Knowledgeable and actively engaged in understanding and forecasting emerging communications technologies and mediums
- Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust Security Clearance
Experience That Would Be a Plus, But Not Required
- Film, video, animation, events and/or theatre production experience is a plus
