DME is looking for a Marketing Coordinator – Graphics Designer to join our team in Madison Heights, MI. This is a HYBRID role, typically in the office on Wednesdays.
As the Marketing Coordinator – Graphics Designer you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and communications materials for various product and service offerings across the company. You will also create and execute graphics for brochures, direct mail, point-of-purchase materials, print and online advertisements, and presentation materials to support the launch and promotion of products and services.
DME’s Marketing Coordinator – Graphics Designer will draw upon a range of personal, creative, and professional experiences to leverage a mix of traditional and new technology expertise. The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in our performance and implementation of our marketing strategy.
Work You’ll Do:
- Develop the design and layout of various sales materials such as technical guides, flyers, advertisements, logos, white papers & case studies, presentation templates, and more.
- Write and edit engaging copy for campaign assets.
- Implement DME’s brand guidelines, style guide, and content typology. Rigorously proofread and edit every piece of work to deliver the highest-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with strategic marketing planners, campaign managers, designers, and digital producers to develop creative concepts and assets that engage users.
- Create graphics for social media posts, websites, banners, and Google Ads
- Assist with event management marketing (i.e.: tradeshows, seminars, and webinars)
- Maintain internal communications with other departments and internal groups to support the management functions of the team.
- Lead and/or partner with project/product/service teams in developing marketing strategies, plans and specific tools to meet revenue and project goals; provide valued content to enhance brand perceptions and build loyalty.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness and outcome of the marketing efforts to internal groups and convey expectations set forth for each group,
- Coordinate with managers on marketing strategies and budget
- Correspond with customers and suppliers as needed.
- Maintain proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s marketing efforts and maintain accuracy of DME literature / catalog / and E-store information as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following.
- Collaborate with assigned product/service teams in developing marketing and/or communication plans and work with them to develop specific tools and programs to meet revenue and unit goals.
- Develop copy and content for use in various internal and external marketing materials – brochures, mailers, email campaigns, catalogs, presentations, trade show graphics, newsletters, websites, advertising, press releases and articles for industry publications.
- Work in close collaboration with others to create marketing materials and sales support tools for new and existing products.
- Manage marketing calendars/schedules and message development of internal and external communications related to specific business units/products/services.
- Utilize primary and secondary research to incorporate customer and consumer insights into marketing materials, messages, and strategies.
- Post updates and sales messages onto our Social Media accounts.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline
- 2+ years related experience in a corporate marketing communications role, with a focus on product and service marketing, and/or training
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Marketing Communications.
- Editorial experience in a business-to-business environment, authoring and editing content
- Expert written and verbal communications skills in print, display and electronic media
- Must possess a level of understanding of strategic marketing concepts and communications planning
- Ability to read and follow instructions represented in manuals and established procedures
- Focus on Safety – the ability to follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications – (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. )
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and editing tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the creative process, print production and distribution
- Photography skills a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present and promote concepts to others
- Experience developing advertising and promotional campaigns in a corporate environment
- Experience with primary and secondary research
- Working knowledge of segmented marketing
