This is remote job but will prefer candidates
local to Tampa or nearby areas
This is a client-facing role that works
hand-in-hand with the project management team to deploy servers and
environments for new and existing customers in our private and public cloud
platforms.
This role will interact directly with clients
to ensure that services deployed to meet client expectations and required
deadlines.
The Client Implementation Engineer must have
a well-rounded background in the information technology industry with an
emphasis on Windows Server technologies and Internet protocols and standards.
Three to five years of experience deploying
and configuring Windows server environments and supporting
Windows Active Directory will be required
along with in-depth knowledge of Remote Desktop configurations and best
practices.
The Client Implementation Engineer will form
key relationships with customers, business leaders, and technical project teams
to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to meet stringent timelines.
This role requires strong organizational and
time management skills as well as the ability to lead technical discussions on
multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing and configuring functional Active
Directory-based Windows environments
Deploying and configuring Remote Desktop and
VDI solutions Participate in client meetings to discuss projects and timelines
Document environment build information and
processes
Learn new technologies and methods for
deploying solutions
Quickly resolve issues identified during
testing phases of projects
Actively participate in process improvement
discussions and team activities
Form relationships with support team members
for a smooth transition of clients from the project team to ongoing support
teams
Be available in a support role for the client
“go live” activities on projects
Support & administration of all Windows
Server technologies including configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues
for AD, RDS, IIS, DFS, DNS, and Windows services.
Minimum Requirements – Education, Skill &
Abilities:
3 years’ experience managing and configuring
Windows Server environments
Strong Windows Server OS support &
administration skills in Windows 2012 and above
Foundational experience with virtualization
technologies Foundational network knowledge including subnetting, firewalls and
routing protocols
Foundational understanding of ITIL practices
Experience leading technical projects or
programs
Must be comfortable working in a fast pace
and dynamic environment requiring excellent time management and self-discipline
Ability to work well in a cross-functional,
matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team-oriented
approach to problem-solving
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable communicating directly with
clients and technology partners
Preferred Requirements– (not required)
5 or more years managing complex Windows
Server environments
Relevant Microsoft Windows technologies
certification(s) Knowledge in any of the following areas:
VMWare vSphere, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop,
Microsoft Hyper-V, next-gen firewalls, F5 BIG IP, and/or Citrix Netscaler
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP
deployments
