We have a small team of SEOs who are brilliant and manage their own portfolios. What we are looking for is an absolute master of SEO that can not only help train and manage our current SEOs, but oversee the SEO department. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a proven track record managing large clients (minimum $30k/mo SEO budget) in an agency setting with a strong desire to build up not only your own portfolio but the department's portfolio as a whole. Our perfect person is someone with a passion to lead and grow within a supportive company culture.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years working as an SEO manager at a digital marketing agency while handling multiple client accounts simultaneously (You will be asked to provide at least 2 agency references at some point during the interview process)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SEO and actually creating and implementing strategies (We need someone that can actually get in there and do the work and not just talk about it)
- 2+ years of owning multiple SEO clients with large monthly budgets ($30K+) responsible for the strategy and execution of the strategy (with proper resources)
- Experience working with Google properties such as Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc
- Experienced and comfortable with working on several projects and clients at once

We specialize in not only helping companies grow but also clearly tracking the success we bring to each of our clients.
Job description:
In this position, you will work directly with our Client Success Managers as they have their finger on the pulse of each of our valued clients. All of our clients have clear goals, and a portion of those are focused on Local SEO and National SEO strategies, so this should be your comfort zone; if that is the case, then read on, my friend….please read on.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- First and foremost, be able to generate traffic and rankings for our clients
- Work with the team to determine what pages need to be created or edited to successfully hit clients’ sales goals
- Perform keyword research to find the best possible keyword that is topically relevant, geographically relevant, and attainable
- Use in-house software to generate SEO reports to get pages ranked for the chosen keyword and analyze them to determine what steps must be taken to produce a winning page
- Order content from third-party vendors according to SEO report, edit for SEO/readability, and implement content on the page using WordPress
- General understanding of WordPress to implement front-end SEO in a way that is visually appealing and follows conversion best practices, as well as basic backend SEO such as metadata and structured data
- Following through with tasks A-Z to ensure that all tasks are completed correctly and thoroughly, so that data can be gathered for tracking
- Accurately reporting to the Client Success Manager if SEO efforts have been successful or not
- Take advantage of company-sponsored training (both in-house and online) to further develop skills in all aspects of digital marketing, including but not limited to front-end SEO, Local SEO, CRO, Analysis, copywriting, and more.
