Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator
Position Type: Full-time (Exempt Employee)
Work Location: Hybrid remote position in Tyler, TX
Salary Range: $44,200 - $54,600 per year
Additional Benefits: Company Laptop, Company Cell phone, Internet Hotspot, Travel Accommodations (Per diem, Gas, Hotel, for 70% travel required)

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations.
- Review job applications and resumes, assess applicant qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Provide guidance on company HR policies to managers, supervisors, and employees.
- Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring smooth communication and adherence to HR procedures.
- Offer information and consultation on employment matters such as transfers, promotions, demotions, and reductions-in-force.
- Oversee employee events in line with our Employee Recognition Guidelines.
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor various personnel and risk management programs/files.
- Handle various office support tasks, including composing confidential correspondence and data entry.
- Interpret, apply, and explain company policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
- Manage the onboarding process using R1 BambooHR software.
- Responsible for I9, W4, and background checks.
- Handle offboarding processes and employee transfers.
- Conduct regular HR conference meetings with managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Strongly Preferred
- Previous recruiting experience with a successful track record in talent sourcing.
- Familiarity with scheduling and basic event planning/execution.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Office programs.
- 2+ years of human resources or administrative support experience is ideal, but we are open to individuals eager to learn.
- Desire for continuous learning and growth within HR and Recruitment fields.
- Creative Writing Skills (a Plus But Not Required).
- Knowledge of recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, etc.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekends during new account startups
- Day shift with some 2nd and 3rd shift work during plant visits
