Overview
We are currently seeking an Account Coordinator to join, a full-service advertising agency based in Chicago. The right candidate will have 0-2 years and will provide support to the Account, Media and Creative teams. Recent college grads are encouraged to apply! This is a remote position without need for relocation and the majority of the agency operates on CST.
The right person for this role should be eager to work in a collaborative environment but have the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned accounts/responsibilities. This person is highly organized and possesses strong project management skills.
Key Day To Day Responsibilities
- Project management of client projects from start (opening a creative brief) to finish (trafficking to vendors)
- Develops creative briefs and works with creative team to execute advertising
- Works closely with creative and media groups to keep them informed of any change requests from the client
- Proofs all layouts, copy and content before sending to client
- Keeps client informed on status of all projects including completion and distribution of weekly status reports, production timelines or other verbal or written updates
- Obtains client approvals in advance of initiating projects, including identification of target dates and budgets
- Works with senior account management staff in preparation of client plans and recommendations
Desired Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree; with 0-2 years’ experience
- Have general knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of advertising
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
