Get To Know The Opportunity

The AVP – Strategic Solutions Business Development roles support the development and launch of customer focused strategic solutions, which include, but are not limited to: Health Account Solutions (e.g., HSA/FSA/COBRA), Decision Support and Guidance tools, and innovative insurance products. These individuals are entrepreneurial generalists who can effectively represent a broad range of consumer facing offerings with internal sales teams and external partners to drive engagement, collaboration, and growth. These roles are available to assist with many different aspects of growth, which include educating producers on our portfolio and capabilities, finalist presentations, developing strategies to promote growth, and providing input on product development and strategic direction of the solution portfolio.

The Contributions You’ll Make

  • Partner with both Health and Wealth field personnel in their designated regions as part of ongoing product and service development
  • Building relationships across the organization to promote the growth of strategic solutions
  • Serving as a SME on a broad range of offerings such as Health Account Solutions and Decision Support tools
  • Adept at learning and engaging in new topics
  • Attending and leading client, broker, advisor, and consultant meetings
  • Providing training to field teams
  • Attending industry conferences to build Voya brand and reputation
  • Supporting implementation and client service on an “as needed” basis
  • Supporting onboarding of new team members
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
  • 5+ years of sales/marketing success with Health Account Solutions or Decision Support offerings
  • Extensive product knowledge, strong marketplace relationships, employee benefits and/or retirement experience, and open to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Health/Life insurance license preferred
  • Proven track record of sales success
Compensation Pay Disclosure

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$140,080 - $175,100 USD
